Nauti Village, the opening point of the greatest and longest Nanda Devi Raj Jat Yatra which is done once in 12 years is said to be the home of Goddess Nanda. The Yatra is considered as one of the longest pilgrimage tour covered by foot into the tiring path bestowing lively natural beauty which can leave anyone mesmerized. Last Nanda Devi Rajjaat Yatra was held in Aug 2014 after 14 years of previous Nanda Devi Rajjaat Yatra which happened in 2000. Hence it was originally scheduled in 2012 but was postponed due to Malmaas (one inauspicious month) in that year. Hence rescheduled to happen in 2013, again last year it was postponed due to natural catastrophe (flash floods) in Kedarnath area.
It took around 20 days to cover 290 km Nanda Devi Rajjaat Yatra of 2014.
